We took Leila to the ocean. To say the least as parents we were really excited to see her reaction. She had seen the ocean once before on our trip to San Diego but we really didn't think there would be any memory of it on her part (she was only 9 months at the time). Her reaction was priceless, but not in a good way. She hated it absolutely was TERRIFIED of the ocean and cried and kept both feet off of the sand at all times. We took a video so we could share with her someday her reaction, while the pictures tell the story the audio from the video really seals it. I just hope we haven't scarred her for life!
