An ordinary day

2/26/2008

Turn your back for a minute and this is what I see.

I keep an eye on her but allow her to be adventurous I am a pretty lax momma I would say.

I figure what is the worse that could happen.

It is my own fault I suppose; I myself LOVE bbq sauce and have now instilled my love of dipping sauces on my daughter.

The only difference?

I don’t think it makes a great hair styling product.

Turn my back again, now this is my

own fault and it not happens once but yep you guessed it… Twice!

And as you probably already know the second time was worse than the first!

Naturally she just was telling me she wanted her bath earlier in the day.

Oh and that she was hungry for soap (go figure!)

Chalk it up to the adventures of Momma-hood with an almost two year old.

Been there, done that...only mine lathered herself up in KY Jelly. I put her in her room for naptime, went into check on her and found her naked in the middle of her room with an empty tube of KY (I use it for rectal temp taking). Apparently she realized she could reach the top drawer on her changing table. She was so slick I nearly dropped her twice on the way to the tub. That stuff isn't so easy to wash off!

Your little one is so cute! Even if she is covered in BBQ sauce!

Oh, the same thing happens over here. Except it's usually with yogurt. I like to think of it as "moisturizer."

I love it. I think we have similar mothering philosophies. I only have as many rules as I can enforce, which at the moment is about 3. Don't go in the street. Don't even look at electrical outlets. No climbing in the washing machine. My inlaws think I'm too permissive with our kids. I don't want to squash their spirits.
She's darling.
