Help needed

Leila's all over body rash is gone but she now has a horrible rash on her one leg only. And it is getting worse not better. I just wanted to see if anyone has seen this before. It has left our family doctor stumped and it will take at least a month to see a dermatologist.

**Edit: Leila has had her chicken pox vaccination (about 3 months ago now). It doesnt seem to bother her to the touch and I havent seen her scratch them before. The are raised up pretty far and hard to the touch**

I'm not a doctor, but that looks like shingles. Has she had chicken pox before, and does is hurt a lot, like a burn? Poor thing. I hope she gets better.

p.s. if it is shingles, she can give chicken pox to thos who haven't had it before!

Oh my goodness!!! Poor baby!! Looks a tiny bit like Poison Ivy. Have those blisters broken open? I cannot believe the doctor had no clue and that it will take that long to get in to see the derm. It seems almost like a "sqeeze her in" visit! Poor thing!! Poor you!! :( Keep us posted!

Could she have been exposed to poison ivy or oak? It actually looks like chicken pox but even if she did get it, it would be all over the body. Don't think it's shingles because it usually is on the trunk, following a nerve track and you have to (usually) be a bit run down or immuno compromized. So my guess, especially with it looking so localized is a contact thing like a plant.
