Baby Girl
5/25/2010
Leila, baby girl today you are four. Ready to take on the world and pretty much know all the answers to everything (at least that is the impression you give me when you are telling me how it is!). You are super goofy, super bossy (I have NO IDEA where you got that trait from *smile*), have an amazing laugh, and make me count my lucky stars that I get to be your momma everyday. I love you more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.
Happy Birthday Baby girl I hope 4 is all you want it to be!
(on a side note two seconds before I took this picture giggles and smiles, the camera came out and this... the curse of the non-smiling child has come around these parts! Lucky for me Kenson hasnt hit that point yet so I will have at least ONE smiling child)
Geeking out!
5/17/2010
I have a craft show coming up in the beginning of June down in Chicago. I am super excited and I am looking to put my collage work on different items. I am super geeked about these coming in. Pocket mirrors!!! If they do well I will take requests for my other collages to be turned into mirrors as well. If you were to get one of these, would you want a bag/pouch to carry them in?
More exciting stuff to come!

Awesome
5/05/2010
I recently entered a giveaway. It was one of those that you had to actually write responses, and think about what to say to win. I love those. She had a great question: Do you think you are awesome? Why or why not. (I wont award this to someone who DOESNT think they are awesome)
And it got me thinking and I felt like sharing.
Reasons I am awesome:
I gave birth to two AMAZING kids who by all standards are normal, healthy, and pretty dang cute.
I create great messes and I am amazing at being able to ignore them for days (see the above picture) (My husband btw doesnt think this is such an awesome thing)
I make an awesome spinach quiche
I love to sing, and I dont care it is off key
I care about the planet
I love to hear other people's stories
I can curl my tongue (thanks genetics!)
give me a good book and a glass of lemonade and I am set for hours
I cry at the drop of the hat
I wear my heart on my sleeve
No matter how many times I get knocked down and I always get back up dust myself off and keep smiling.
So.... There you have it, what makes me awesome. What about you? What makes you awesome I would love to hear about it!!
