My mortality

These last few weeks have been tough for me, I have lived a pretty healthy life. I have only had to go to the doctors once, for stitches when I was about 5. I have been very lucky. It has finally caught up with me and it is my turn to carry the burden of health issues. I am having my gall bladder removed this Friday, since having a serious attack about two and a half weeks ago I have lost over 15 lbs. I got bloodwork back yesterday and my liver is also having some issues more than what would be normal while having gall stones so there is some worry there as well.
While I know this surgery is very routine none the less the fact that I will be put under worries me, what if I don't wake up? With three very young kids I want to make sure if the unimaginable happens they have photos with me and each their own letter for them to read whenever they want. as a mother it breaks my heart to know that the boys will probably have no memories of me if something does happen and photos and videos will be all they have.

I know everything will happen as it should and because of that I want to make sure I do what I can. It will be quiet around here until after the surgery, family time in full force as well as a sweet little girl starting kindergarten this week.

I know a lot is going on in the world and prayer lists are long but if you can I would love if you could squeeze my family in there it would mean so much to us.

Another Insta Friday

This week has been crazy! I have been diagnosed with gall stones and it has been a painful week to say the least!! Glad the week is almost over here's to the weekend!! Not many photos taken but lots of goofiness has been happening around these parts.

getting back in the groove

I dont know how many of you out there that read do craft shows. I only do a few a year but boy do they wipe me both physically & creatively!!!! I love them, otherwise I wouldnt do them but none the less when I get home from a show the last thing I want to do is paint. I dont look at my paint brushes for weeks, honest! Well my recovery from the craftacular was a lot quicker than normal (yay!)

I am sure Ken hates then when he walks into our living space there are all these eyes staring at him (or spots that would be eyes) but I keep the art out so I can keep walking past it and tweaking it whenever I get a chance. So yay for painting. I am also using a new supply called PanPastels, can you say love?!?!!? More on that later.

The countdown is on. Craftacular the big craft show I have been lucky enough to get into is this Sunday. To say Im freaking is an understatement but that my friends is a whole different blog post. While my Inspired Art Girls are coming along just fine (havent made as many as I would like but I am not going to dwell) I do feel time setting in and I am having nightmares I will show up at the show and have nothing to show (literally I have had that dream twice now).

So whats a girl to do.... well for me deadlines can really get my creative flow going I am in the motion I am cranking out piece after piece and then sometimes WHAM! a block hits me and I cant create a thing worth a dime. While I dont feel I am at that wall hitting point I do feel that I lost my mojo in there and with that I start to focus less on what to get done and how I can waste my precious little amount of time I have each night.

So in an effort to waste my time tonight I went blog hopping. You know check out what others are doing in there life, tutorials they are sharing, art they are making basically the opposite of me at that moment. Within that blog hop I found a tutorial that hit me over the head, excited me like nothing else and I got to work creating.... Am I crazy, possibly. But I can tell you this if you stop by Craftacular I will let you decide if the new pieces are an epic fail, or epic success!!! (that is if I can get them done in time *smile*)

And now time for a baby update

All of my kids have been late crawlers and walkers. This little man is determined NOT to be like his brother and sister. He is already moving around with what I am calling the plank pose...baby style (strong little guy).

Stop growing so fast kiddo, 5 months old right now and in a blink 18 I swear!!!
